Preface
According to statistics, there are over 11 million private swimming pools in the world now, and about 600 thousands pools are built each year with total business value for pools construction of �6.5 billion or so per year.
At present, China has more than 10 thousands swimming pools and water paradises and over 50 thousands medium-sized bath centers. Most swimming pools and bath centers need reconstruction, renewal and add new equipments and facilities. Among which, nearly half or above swimming pools were built in 1890s or earlier and cannot meet the public individual and diversified needs for its out-dated equipments and single function. There are also problems in design. Most current swimming pools do not take such factors as water function, water fitness and water culture into consideration as well as the problems of water disinfection, water saving and security, except swimming. Therefore, it is in the peak time of need for swimming pools throughout the country to reconstruct, renew and add advanced equipments and facilities badly.
As for the distribution of Chinese swimming pools, about 40% is invested by sports system approximately, about 4% by restaurants and hotels, about 40%community is, about 10% by schools and 6% or so by others. At present, government requires sport departments above county level to possess one swimming pool. About 2 thousands out of over 3 thousands units above county level need to reconstruct. Newly-built apartment and community must build swimming pool or water paradise too. Except college, nearly all middle and elementary school in more than 100 thousands Chinese colleges, middle and elementary schools, does not have swimming pools, which will start to build in large scale in several years. Moreover, it is estimated that home swimming pool, which is emerging in China, will build in great quantity in the short future years.
Under the new situation of market and industry needs and supported by relevant government departments and trade union, the 2nd China (Beijing) International Leisure and Entertainment Industry Exposition in 2006, International Swimming Pool and Bath Leisure Facilities Exhibition will open at China International Exhibition Center on June 22nd—24th 2006. Through which, the participants will have the access to the technological information on swimming pool, water quality of bath industry, maintenance and renovation and solving measures, and will also be able to know the newest development and status quo of the international swimming pool and bath industry so as to play a role in promoting China’s exchange and cooperation with the world in swimming pool technology and bath trade.

u Swimming pool and bath pool technologies: cycling drainage system, water body disinfection system, maintenance and clean system, the main system of water distribution of the pool, spare parts, furniture and periphery equipments of swimming pool and other associated equipments.
u Swimming pool equipments: sauna, physiotherapy bath equipments, SPA equipments, recuperating health preserving, tending articles, bath equipments, heating equipments and equipments for fitness, games, training and body health.
u The relevant facilities, equipments and articles: swimsuit, swimming cap, web, swimming goggles, equipments and articles of skin dive and swimming teaching tools, etc.

Standard booth: (3m x 3m): Basic price for open space

Standard booth furnished with:
Exhibiting place, 2.5M high partition plate, a company name fascia board, a carpet with an area of 9 M², 1 information counter, 2 chairs, 1 power source socket (220V), 2 fluorescent lampsThose exhibitors who choose a booth and a booth with double openings will be charged with additional 20% of the total amount.
The exhibition fee is RMB 500 Yuan/person (using for exhibition materials, lunch, gifts, etc.)
The open space rental includes: exhibiting place, security, cleaning services
Á Procedure for exhibitor:
Filling in Booth Application Form, then sending the Form after signing and sealing to Exhibition Organizing Committee by mail or by fax. Sending the exhibition expense (50% of deposit or the total) by TT or delivering it to Exhibition Organizing Committee within one week after submitting the Booth Application Form. The booths will be delivered following the principle of “Giving booths in accordance to the sequence of applying and paying”. The remaining amount should be paid off before May 30, 2006. otherwise, the sponsor will regard it as giving up, and the booth will not be reserved. After receiving the Booth Application Form and the payment, the sponsor will send the invoice and Exhibitor’s Manual together to exhibitors.
As for the matters of transportation of exhibits and representative’s accommodation, please refer to Exhibitor’s Manual.

Besides being distributed widely to administrations, relevant societies and visitors during the exhibition period, the Exhibition Directory will be sent to domestic and foreign enterprises in this industry, related sectors, etc.

ÁActivities in Conference:
Exhibits display, business negotiations, technical exchange, academic discussion. Meanwhile, each exhibitor could apply for technical exchange seminars, Cost of each seminar is as follows: RMB 6,800 Yuan for domestic enterprises and USD 1,500 for oversea enterprises (for 2 hours, the seminars less than 2 hours will be counted as 2 hours)
Á Exhibition’s propaganda plan
u 60 thousand of invitation cards and 300 thousand of admission tickets will be distributed to traders and businessmen both home and aboard by organizing committee. Propaganda and promotion will be proceeded through foreign institutions in China (including embassy, trade association and all kinds of trade organizations)
u Mainly invite the purchasing agents of various industries, such as gymnasiums both home and abroad, swimming pools, bath centers, water paradise, hotels, communities, schools, common families, relevant departments of government, enterprises and public institutions, end-user, distributors and scientific research institutions, etc. So that they can visit, negotiate and order.
u Advertisement will be published on over great varieties of medias, such as Beijing Evening News , China Youth Daily, Beijing Morning, Shijiazhuang Daily, Tianjin Daily, Beijing TV station, etc.
u A seminar on the projects and articles purchasing of the swimming races of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and seminars on projects of other races will be held by Beijing Olympic Economy Research Association and Olympic Committee. During the exhibition the Olympic Committee will also hold a forum on the infrastructure construction of water projects of Olympic Games and the basic standards of selecting the relevant products and how enterprises participate the biding and the economic market of Olympic Games.
u The organizing committee will compile the supply-demand information of key users, the feedback of the investigation in the prior period, and set a special zone to publish the information, and for the sake of trade after the exhibition, the organizing committee will publish enterprises’ information free of charge on the exhibition bulletin.
u During this exhibition, there will also be development forums on international swimming pool and bath equipments, new technologies and new products introducing meetings, promotion meetings and economic and business negotiation seminars.
